of frogging! The lacy tank that I vowed to finish just wasn't meant to be. I didn't like how it was turning out, although it was almost finished. But it was too wide, the arm holes were too shallow and the neck opening too wide. A no-go. So it went from this:

...to this

So now it's back to a few balls of yarn, and I've been trying to figure out what it really wants to be. I like the Lotus Bloom tank from Interweave knits, but I don't like the lotus lace (I already started, and ripped it back), so I'm modifying it more to my liking. Also my yarn and therefore gauge is way off, so I had to recalculate everything anyway. A new beginning:

On a completely different note, I'm leaving for vacation (did you hear that? VACATION!! Woo-hoo!) in a couple of days, so I won't be posting for at last two weeks. But there should be plenty of knitting progress to report after I come back.

Oh, what a bummer! Frogging is never fun, but when you're so close too finishing....makes you wonder why we still knit doesn't it?
Hope you have fun on vacation!
